Hi! I'm Sam, I'm a doctoral student at George Mason University. I recently graduated from Oberlin College in May 2026 with a BA in Mathematics and Musical Studies. My mathematics work is primarily in Analysis, and my musical work is primarily as a composer.

What I'm Up To:
Mathematics:
- Starting up in my graduate classes!
- Reading up on various potential research areas in Analysis
- Applying for grants (I suspect this will be a perpetual task)
- Rearranging the alternating harmonic series so it diverges by oscillation.
Media:
- Listening to href by Disphing.
- Playing Slay the Spire 2. I played almost 700 hours of STS1—mostly during Covid—so I've been very excited for this one to release.
- Watching an assortment of YouTubers who play Deadlock, but especially Eskay.
Other:
- Playtesting Misfits.
- Theorycrafting new Magic: The Gathering decks.
- Writing music and jamming out. Working on a Proof of Concept EP.
